The Battery Show Europe is the largest event for advanced battery and H/EV technology in Europe, bringing together industry experts, leading battery manufacturers and interested buyers at a unique event. It showcases the latest innovations in battery and electric vehicle technology, strengthens existing relationships and forges new partnerships.

Sodium batteries represent the most promising and short-term available post-lithium battery technology. The diversity of approaches for sodium electrochemistry covers commercialized high-temperature solutions with more than 40 years of development history, emerging LIB-like batteries and progressing all solid state storage.

The demand for green technologies is increasing immensely. More and more electric vehicles are entering the roads. As a result, the efficient and environmentally friendly production of battery cells is moving to a center stage. Especially during the manufacturing of the battery electrodes, state-of-the-art slurry processes are very space- and energy-consuming and moreover, involve the use of toxic solvents.

Lithium-sulfur batteries are envisaged to enable energy storage devices with high specific energy at low material cost. The recent research provides significant progress in terms of materials for active and passive cell components as well as on understanding of mechanisms finally leading to improved Li-S cell performance.
